Grange was established in 1904 by Joseph Grange and is one of the oldest cabinetmakers in France today. With its global dealer structure, the Group recognised the potential in Grange as a platform for the Group’s international expansion and in 2003 acquired an initial stake of c20% in the business, increasing this to 75% in 2005.

Aga is well known for its iconic cast iron range cooker, manufactured in Telford, UK, its Coalbrookdale site having links back to Abraham Darby, the founder of the Industrial Revolution. Aga is the premier cast iron range cooker and heat storage cooker manufacturer with the Aga, Rayburn and Stanley brands which together sell more than 20,000 units per annum. With Fired Earth paint, tiles, bathrooms, wood flooring and home design service, Aga is truly at the heart of the home.

Together they have a history spannng over 300 years, being innovators in range cooking. Rangemaster’s original ‘Kitchener’ design was awarded a gold medal at the 1851 Great Exhibition. La Cornue’s vaulted oven, invented in 1908 in which food cooks in its own steam, created at that time a revolutionary method of cooking.
